I started my career at the legendary EastWest Studios, where I worked on sessions with artists like Weezer, John Legend, Ghost, and Sum 41, alongside producers such as Rick Rubin, Blake Mills, Bob Rock, and Billy Bush.

No. This course is about the principles and decision-making that lead to great recordings. The specific gear doesn't matter. That said, if you're going for a specific drum sound, this course will help you figure out the right gear for you so you don't waste money.
Does it matter what DAW I use?
Not in the slightest. This is about the concepts, principles, and decisions that lead to epic results. I demonstrate in Pro Tools, but the same concepts apply in any DAW.
I'm not a drummer. Will this still help me?
Absolutely. In fact, it will likely help you most of all.
I'm recording in a bedroom. Can I still get epic drum recordings?
Absolutely. I'm currently recording drums in a bedroom and getting the best drum recordings of my life. It's less about what you have and more about how you use it.
